Join for a very special evening with Matt Cain MBE.

Author. Broadcaster. Former Editor-in-Chief of Attitude. MBE for services to LGBTQ+ culture. And the man who crowdfunded The Madonna of Bolton in just seven days after publishers turned it down for being “too gay.”

Matt joins us to celebrate his brand new novel, The Castle of Stories, the first title from Pansy, the queer independent publisher he founded with his husband and to look back on his extraordinary life and career.

James Wallis will sit down with Matt for a live interview exploring everything from his writing and broadcasting career to his time at Attitude, championing queer stories and receiving his MBE, followed by questions from the audience.

Afterwards, stay for drinks and a book signing.There’ll also be a pop-up bookshop on site where you can pick up a copy and have it signed by Matt.
